Full Body Preventative Maintenance Massage

Pre-Event and Post-Event Massage

Injury Recovery Massage

A full body preventative maintenance massage will provide the horse with many benefits.  Maintenance massages will alleviating pain, tension and stress along with increasing blood flow, circulation and range of motion in joints.  Full body massages have so many benefits for the horse, and can improve many aspects of the overall health and happiness of the horse.

Before and after an event is a VERY important and crucial time for massage to help the horse preform to the best of it's ability.  A short massage, stretching and releasing tension in muscles can aid in your horse's performance in many ways.  Allowing your horse to have adequate time to stretch, relax and get loose will provide you with the best results while riding.

Before a performance, horses will be  stretched, massaged and muscles will be limber and ready to go again!

After a performance, a massage can help the horse's muscles and body to recover faster and alleviate muscle tension, stress and relieve any pain.

After an injury, it is very important to get the horse's body back to being performance ready.  Depending on the injury location, different muscles can have more tension put on them and need just as much rehabilitative work as the injured area.  A grade 1 or 2 lameness is just as important to rehabilitate as a grade 4 or 5.  Massage has so many benefits for a injury and can bring a horse back to full health, however massage should not be used a substitution for veterinary care if it is needed.  Equine massage is intended to be a complementary medical addition, not a replacement.
